“I can’t say enough how proud and humbled I am to be a part of this community every day when I have the privilege to look through the daily uploads and see everything you all are sharing. This past week we traveled from China to Italy to Colorado, USA and we even time traveled back to 1978 when Freddie Mercury graced the stage with Queen. The creative, story-telling and striking photographs that transport us to all corners of the world and take us back in time make me excited to come to work everyday to see what adventure I’ll go on that day.”

“I finish every week more inspired than the week before. I finish every week thinking about the different corners of Earth I was able to visit for a few fleeting moments. I get to visit the jungles of Uganda, the depths of the ocean, scale seawalls with climbers and hang out with sleepy big cats. As always, I’m incredibly thankful for this community sharing their worlds with me.”

Marcus Martinez, who has previously been featured in Cross Connect, has new and stunningly beautiful work. Jewel like and glittery, with elegant and perfectly timed motion, these looping artworks are some of the best examples of what geometric gif art can be. And it shows the growth of an artist dedicated to his craft. Everything here expands on and deepens the already impressive body of work he has done over the past several years.
